Achievements of last three months regarding Seminar/Workshop and Research/Development

Research Paper published/accepted/sent

1. Mr. Amit Jain of CSE department has got his Research paper published in an International Journal named ‘Research & Research Youth Congress 2010’ on “A general study on Grid Computing”.
2. Dr. Bhavna Ayachit HOD Basic Science department has sent her paper for publication in ‘Oriental Journal of Chemistry’.
3. A research paper of Dr. V.P. Saxena entitled ‘Temperature distribution model in human body under air flow’ has been accepted in National Conference at MERIT New Delhi.
4. A research paper entitled “A variational finite element approach to pricing options on Assets with continuous dividend yield” of Dr. Jainendra Jain has been accepted for publication in GAMS Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Biosciences published by Taylor and Francis.
5. Mrs. Shilpa Bhatnagar presented her paper on ‘Challenges and Opportunities in Education Sector’ at an International seminar held by VNS Management Institute on Global Economic Meltdown.
6. A research paper of Dr. Jainendra Jain entitled ‘A Variational Finite Element Approach to the Pricing of American Options’ been accepted for presentation in National Conference at MERIT, New Delhi.
7. Following Research papers of Prof. V.P. Saxena have been published in the respective International Refereed Journals.

   • Mathematical Study of Diffusive Fluid Transport and Distribution in Human Dermal Regions, Springer Verlag Journal Vol. 26, No. 4 (2010).
8. 9. Research Paper of Mrs. Arpita Raverkar entitled ‘Route Discovery in Insecure Mobile Ad hoc Network has been accepted for 3rd International Conference on Conference on Electronics Computer Technology (ICECT 2011) to be held during April 8-10 2011, in Kanyakumari and sponsored by IEEE & IETE Trivandrum.
9. 10. Mrs. Jyoti Jain has got acceptance for the publication of two papers in the International Conference will be organized in the month of April, one paper will be added in Springer Digital Library and another one will be displayed in the IEEE Digital library.
10. 11. Research papers of following faculty have been published in International Conference on ‘Advances in Communication, Embedded System and Computing’ held at SIRT.
    • Mrs. Ritu Shrivastava and Mrs. Jyoti Sondhi- Green Computing –A Survey.
    • Mr. Aumreesh Kumar Saxena and Mr. Umashankar Pandey - Eight Characteristics to learn about Network Security.
    • Mr. Abhigyan Tiwari- Intrusion Detection in UDP Protocol.
    • Mr. Amit Arora- Reconfigurable Micro strip Antenna for Frequency and Polarization.

• In MBA expert lecture was organized and the resource person was Mr. Anubhav Dubey, Area Operation In charge of Tata Sky. The lecture was on Consumer Behavior and was very interesting and a live lecture.
• Mr. Sandeep Shivaji from NITTR delivered a lecture for EX & EC students on the different tools in effective teaching.
• An Expert lecture on ‘Oracle 10 G’ was delivered by Mr. Satish Asnani, Dy. Manager of Informatics Department BHEL, Bhopal.
• An Expert lecture in Civil Department was organized. The Speaker was Prof. Ajay Khare, Director School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. At the same time, Engineering Geology lab was also inaugurated.
• MBA Students attended expert lecture on ‘Goal setting’ and ‘Feeling the pulse of Stock Market’ at SIRT and SIRTE respectively.
• A One day workshop on ‘How to write a Research Paper?’ was organized on 1st November 2010. Dr. T.K. Bandopadhyay, Dr. R.D. Agrawal from SATI Vidisha , Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa Director IPER, Dr. Rajeev Dahiya, Director NRI Pharmacy, Dr. Shrihari Agrawal, Dr. V.P. Saxena, Dr. S.C. Bhageria, Prof. V.P. Singh and Dr. Akhilesh Upadhyay were the speakers in the Workshop. More than 150 Faculty members from SGI and other institutes have participated in that Workshop. All have appreciated the workshop and found it very fruitful.
• Dr. V.P. Saxena has delivered a Keynote lecture on ‘Research Methodology’ in the UGC sponsored Workshop at Jaipur National University on 22nd January 2011.
• Dr. V.P Saxena is the Chief Guest in the National workshop on ‘SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND ITS APPLICATIONS’ sponsored by University Grants Commission at Government P.G. College Shahdol. Also delivered Keynote Lecture on ‘USE OF POLYNOMIALS IN WILD LIFE MANAGEMENT’.
• Dr. V.P. Saxena had been invited to deliver a Keynote lecture on Pharmaco-informatics in the National Seminar on Biotechnology at Delhi Technical University.
• Mr. Abhigyan Tiwari took Two Day Session on Web Page design (JAVA Script) at NITTTR.
• Mr. Dileep Jigyasi and Mr. Abhigyan Tiwari have gone to attend the Workshop on Refresher’s Course in RGPV.
