Student Activity Cell

Sagar Group of Institutions is a well established and renowned group in Central India. Under the flagship of SGI, we have three Engineering colleges(SIRT/SIRTS/SIRTE), Pharmacy colleges and MBA courses. The world class infrastructure of the institute, well equipped laboratories, and a state of the art networked computing laboratories, rich collection of books , national and international journals in the library give ample opportunities to student to showcase their talents in the field of Academics. In order to let the students demonstrate their diversified talents in extra-curricular activities too, SGI has achieved another feat, by opening the Student Activity centre. This initiative was taken for the overall development of students and to shape them as well rounded personalities having good managerial, academic and leadership qualities. The student activity centre from now will be the body that conducts all the events right from the Orientation program, the farewell program to the Alumni meet. The student activity centre will also conduct the annual Tech Fest “TECHNOSAGA”, the Cultural Bonanza “SAGAR UTSAV” and will also be solely responsible for all inter college cultural events, guest lectures, seminars, and sports events for the college. Although academics is the foundation of SGI the various clubs, be it literary or cultural, are the pillars of strength upon which the personality of our student is build. While PUBLIC SPEAKING and CREATIVE WRITING help in strengthening their literary senses, the ECO BUDDIES club and CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY club is our way of contributing to the society and nature. Various events are organized by the clubs which offer excellent opportunities, covering a very wide range, to its students to participate in recreational and creative activities.
